Creditisation Guidelines Released
The Ministry of Education has released detailed creditisation guidelines for NATS apprentices. These guidelines are designed to align apprenticeship training with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Credit Framework (NCrF).
Credits earned through apprenticeship training will now hold academic value, allowing candidates to utilize them in further education programs such as diplomas, undergraduate, and postgraduate studies. This initiative bridges the gap between skill training and higher education.
Institutions and training providers are instructed to implement the guidelines strictly and provide clarity to students regarding credit transfer, recognition of prior learning, and progression to higher qualifications.
